Samsung has finally fully unveiled its new ultra-slim smartphone, the
Galaxy S25 Edge
, after teasing the handset earlier this year at
Galaxy Unpacked
. The S25 Edge is a sight to behold with its slim and lightweight design, stunning 6.7-inch AMOLED display, and powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is set to launch on May 30, 2025, and if you’re looking to get your hands on one, Samsung has a pre-order offer that is hard to pass up. Currently on Samsung’s website, and the Shop Samsung App, you can pre-order the Galaxy S25 Edge and receive a $50 Samsung credit with your purchase. Additionally, if you trade in your old device, you can get up to $630 in trade in credit towards the S25 Edge.
That’s not all either. If you choose the 256GB storage option, Samsung will upgrade you for free to the 512GB storage variant. An upgrade worth $120, totally for free. You can check out this pre-order deal for the S25 Edge below.

The first thin phone has arrived, but does it live up to the hype?
The Galaxy S25 Edge is a sleek powerhouse
Its biggest compromise is battery life
The Galaxy S25 Edge stands out as the thinnest Galaxy phone to date, measuring a mere 5.8mm in thickness and weighing 5.7oz (163g). Its slim design doesn’t compromise performance; it is equipped with the same powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite processor found in the other S25 models, effortlessly tackling productivity tasks, gaming, and Gemini AI.
The S25 Edge features a 6.7-inch AMOLED 2x display with a 120Hz refresh rate and adaptive color tone. However, the trade-off for its slender form is battery life, as evidenced by its 3,900mAh battery — which falls short compared to the Galaxy S25’s 4,000mAh and the S25+’s 4,900mAh batteries. Moreover, the S25 Edge has one less rear camera than its counterparts. The S25 Edge has a 200-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, alongside a 12-megapixel front camera.
Despite these trade-offs, the Galaxy S25 Edge remains an attractive option for anyone seeking a lightweight, yet powerful smartphone. You can check out Samsung’s pre-order promotion, which includes a $50 credit, a free storage upgrade, and up to $630 in trade-in credit below. The pre-order promotion is available until May 30, when the Galaxy S25 Edge launches globally.
