Great features for the price
KTC’s H27E6 features a 27-inch display with a WQHD (2560 x 1440) resolution. It’s perfect for competitive gamers, thanks to its blistering one-millisecond response time and 300Hz refresh rate, which is overclockable to 320Hz. You won’t experience screen tearing or blurring thanks to the built-in Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync compatibility.
The monitor also features other gamer-friendly options, including an FPS counter, a crosshair, and a timer in the on-screen display (OSD) menu. Image quality is excellent, with the IPS display offering 400 nits of brightness, a wide 144% sRGB and 106% DCI-P3 color gamut, and HDR 400 compatibility.
Accessing the OSD menu is easy with a single joystick at the back of the monitor. Moving it right opens the preset menu, which includes shortcuts to viewing modes such as User, Movie, Photo, and more. You can access the input selection menu and choose between the various HDMI and DisplayPorts by moving the joystick up. Moving the joystick up activates the Game Assist features, including the crosshair, timer, and FPS mode. You can also access the main OSD menu by pressing the joystick to enable FreeSync and G-Sync, HDR, and other image settings.

The MSI MPG 341CQPX boasts an OLED display, blazing fast refresh rate, and a stunning image that converted me to ultra-wide monitors for good.
Aesthetics are important to me, and I feel the H27E6’s black-and-white two-tone design stands out in a sea of drab all-back rivals. The front features a black frame with slim bezels on top and sides, and is broken up by a white base and black stand with attractive diagonal lines that create a spiral effect. It’s the opposite color scheme on the monitor’s rear, which is predominantly white and features the same diagonal back accents where it joins the stand. A subtle KTC logo provides a hint of its identity, accompanied by subtle RGB lighting that extends onto the back of the monitor in a rainbow shape.
Connectivity is decent and should be sufficient for most users, featuring a pair of HDMI 2.1 ports and DisplayPort 1.4 ports. There’s also a single USB-A port and a 3.5mm audio port for connecting speakers or headphones.
You can’t ask for better adjustability options, and it takes seconds to find the perfect viewing angle. The H27E6 offers a generous 130mm of height adjustability and can swivel sideways up to 45 degrees. It also features a tilt function and can rotate up to 90 degrees for viewing in either portrait or landscape modes.

What I liked about the KTC H27E6 Monitor
Image quality and adjustability
The H27E6 offers impressive visuals, which bring out the best in my games and other content. I feel WQHD provides the best balance of resolution and speed for gaming, and was impressed by its speed and fluidity when playing Valorant. The smoother character movements combined with the vibrant colors were a huge upgrade from my usual 1080p, 144Hz monitor, and added another dimension to the game.
Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City took on a life of its own, and I was in awe of the highly detailed vistas. Each area of the city has a unique vibe, and the H27E6’s vivid colors lit up the neon billboards and gave the industrial areas a gritty feel.

Why this portable monitor stands out from the pack
I’m getting up to three times done with this setup.
I appreciated the fantastic CGI and intricate character details of the Transformers in Bumblebee, as well as the amazing scenery and action scenes in Fallout. Many monitors struggle with dark scenes, and I had no issues with the creepy castle scenes in Nosferatu.
Another thing I liked about the H27E6 was its overall user-friendliness. Assembling was simple in just a few easy steps, and its incredible adjustability options meant I could move it into the perfect position in seconds without any stress.
What I didn’t like about the KTC H27E6 Monitor
Not much to dislike
The H27E6 ticks most of my boxes, and I struggled to find anything to dislike about it. I usually prefer more USB ports on a monitor, but the single option on the H27E6 is acceptable for the price and matches many of its category rivals. It comes with a single DisplayPort cable, and I would have liked an HDMI cable to connect consoles.
