Galaxy S25 Edge Dummy Model Show More Details About The Device

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge has once again made headlines, appearing in a new video that showcases its ultra-thin design. Despite previous teasers at Galaxy Unpacked and MWC 2025, the device has remained largely a mystery, as Samsung has yet to allow public interaction with it. Now, a South Korean YouTube channel, TheSINZA, has revealed non-functional models, offering a closer look at the flagship smartphone.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is shaping up to be Samsung’s thinnest smartphone ever, with a mere 5.84 mm thickness—significantly slimmer than the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s 8.2 mm. The video features two color options: a silver variant with a white back and a new all-black model. Despite being non-functional, these models highlight the premium build quality, with aluminum sides and a likely ceramic back.

The phone’s front is entirely occupied by the display, emphasizing a sleek and modern look. On the back, a dual-camera system is visible, rumored to consist of a 200 MP main sensor and a 50 MP ultra-wide lens, promising high-quality photography.

Flagship Hardware

Samsung is expected to equip the Galaxy S25 Edge with top-tier specifications. Reports suggest the device will run on the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with 12 GB of RAM and storage options of 256 GB or 512 GB. The smartphone is also expected to feature a 6.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals.

Powering the device is a 3,900 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. It will also come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Out of the box, the S25 Edge will run on Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7.

Launch Date and Pricing

The Galaxy S25 Edge is anticipated to launch on April 16, 2025, but in a low-profile manner, without a dedicated global event—similar to Samsung’s strategy with the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition and Galaxy S24 FE. In the U.S., the phone is expected to start at $999, making it a premium yet competitive offering.
