This Banana Bread is one of our favorites, loaded with chocolate chips and delicious.

❤️WHY WE LOVE THIS RECIPE
This recipe is super simple and wonderful with coffee. We love it warm right out of the oven, add a little butter and enjoy. It is a great way to use bananas and the combination of banana and chocolate chip is a winner. We use regular or mini chocolate chips. This recipe would be great for brunch or even dessert.
SWAPS
You can use any nuts you like and if you are not a fan simply leave them out. You can also switch out the chocolate chips. You can use white chips, peanut butter chips, butterscotch chips, etc.
HOW MANY BANANAS?
We use 3 bananas in this recipe and people always ask how much that equals. It’s around 2 cups of mashed bananas. The bananas we use are just regular size bananas. If you have large bananas, 2 will probably work just fine.


⭐TIP
Always cut quick breads with a serrated knife and cook on the middle oven shelf for best results. Also, all ovens vary, so you will need to check the bread to make sure it is done in the center.

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread
This Chocolate Chip Banana Bread is a great way to enjoy bananas. Easy to make and wonderful with coffee.
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine softened
- 2 eggs beaten
- 3 bananas mashed
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts walnuts or pecans

Mix butter, sugar, eggs, and bananas with mixer. Add remaining ingredients except chocolate chips and mix well.

Fold in chocolate chips with spoon and sprinkle nuts on top of batter. Pour into sprayed loaf pan and cook in preheated 350 degree oven for 60 minutes.

Let cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan. Makes one large loaf of bread.
