Bone Health Technologies (BHT) has opened pre-orders for Osteoboost, the first FDA-cleared wearable medical device designed to treat osteopenia, a condition affecting millions at risk of fractures.
The device is a non-invasive, non-drug treatment option for postmenopausal women with low bone density. Priced at $995 during the pre-order phase (compared to a $1,500 list price), Osteoboost is expected to ship in 60–90 days.
Osteoboost uses precision vibration therapy to target the hips and spine—areas most susceptible to osteoporotic fractures. The device’s patented technology dynamically calibrates vibration frequency and amplitude to slow bone density loss and enhance bone strength.
